Minutes of the ordinary meeting of Stutton cum Hazlewood Parish Council held at
1930 hrs on Thursday, 8th November 2012 at Stutton Village Hall

12089 APOLOGIES – Cllr Back.
12090 DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST – None.
12091 MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING – The minutes of the meeting held on 11th October having been read were approved.
12092 PROGRESS REPORTS
a) Underpass lighting repaired.
12093 VILLAGE HALL AND GROUNDS – Work to village hall carried out and the repair work to be paid by Village Hall whilst the new sink and tiling to be paid by Stutton Playgroup.

12094.3 Half Year Accounts. Resolved: Chair having checked approved the accounts.
12094.4 Grass Cutting Contract. Living Landscapes thanked parish council for being understanding about weather conditions and would like to have contract renewed.. It was resolved that Clerk would issue new contract.
12094.5 Budget 2012/2013. Discussion and resolved that no major expenditure.
12094.6 Selby DC Parish Precept Request. Discussion and it was resolved that precept to remain unaltered for next financial year and Chair and Cllr Birchall signed the precept request form.
12094.7 Nat West Bank – Clerk confirmed that form completed and signed to confirm councillors.
12095 PLANNING
12095.1 The following Planning Applications resolved (2):-
- Erection of a detached double garage at Pigmalion, Wingate Hill Stutton. Resolved: No objections but request a test panel to be built so that it can be checked to ensure stonework conforms to village design statement and stone and pantiles match Pigmalion.
- Proposed extension to form enlarged snug to ground floor and bedroom to first floor Fox Ridge Barn, Low Park, Chantry Lane. Resolved: No objections but request material to be same as existing building and test panel to be built so that it can be checked to ensure stonework matches.
12095.2 The following Planning Appeal noted (1):-
- Brante House, Brant Lane, Stutton – proposed single store orangery side extension.
12095.3 The following Planning Matters discussed (3)
- Station House : No response received from Selby District Council
- Marybern: Discussion re stonework and original request that stonework match discussed. It was resolved Clerk would contact Selby District Council to offer further objection to limestone being used and request further clarification.
- Old School House. Discussion about building work and no response received from Enforcement Officer. It was resolved that Clerk would contact Selby DC again and request clarification.
12096 PARISH COUNCIL WEBSITE – Cllr Back will release domain name to Nikki Readman and Cllr Birchall keen that this is progressed. It was agreed that Clerk request Cllr Back to contact Nikki Readman as soon as possible and Clerk to meet with Nikki to progress this but Clerk requested support in this application.
12097 COUNCILLOR CODE OF CONDUCT – As Cllr Back was absent this was not discussed.
12098 BOUNDARY COMMISSION – Letter received from Boundary Commission with initial representations to be made by 3rd December. Notice on noticeobard. Resolved: To pass to Cllr Back for his input.was thanked for outlining the potential changes.
12099 CHRISTMAS TREE – No further information received since Clerk sent Mr and Mrs Hainsworth letter. Resolved: No further action.
12100 CORRESPONDENCE: – The following correspondence was actioned:-
- Community Engagement Forum Meeting 13th November – Resolved: No-one able to attend.
12101 COUNCILLORS’ REPORT AND ITEMS FOR FUTURE AGENDA:-
- Cllr Fawcett stated that she had had a request from Clerk to change February meeting due to Clerk on a training course. It was agreed that February’s meeting would be held on Thursday, 7th February 2013. Clerk thanked the parish council.

12102 The next ordinary meeting of the Parish Council confirmed as Thursday, 13th December 2012 at 7.30 pm.
There was no further business and the meeting closed at 2045 hrs.
