140146 DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST – None.
140147 MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETINGS –The minutes of the Ordinary Parish Council meeting held 12th March 2015 having been read were agreed as a true record, and it was resolved that the receipts and payments as recorded under the minutes were accepted.
140148 PROGRESS REPORTS – No reports this month.
140149 VILLAGE HALL AND GROUNDS
140150 – Cllr Aarons reported that she had completed the Village Hall Fire Risk assessment and the necessary changes had been implemented and accepted. Cllr Aarons also reported that she had changed the gas supplier from British Gas to Scottish Ppower, resulting in a significant saving for the next year.

140151.2 INSURANCE- Parish Council agreed to renew existing Insurance agreement.
140152 PLANNING – The following application was discussed: –
140152.1 – Outline application with all matters reserved for erection of a single dwelling on land to east of 15 Mill Lane, Sutton..
The Parish Council objected due to poor access to the highway with limited sight lines on the narrow road, close to the tight bend on Mill Lane, also the proposed building is outside the current Village Development Area. Parish Council stated that any proposed buildings should be in accordance with the Village Design Statement and generally in sympathy with the street scene.
140153 PARISH COUNCIL WEBSITE – Action: Cllrs Birchall/ Heard to discuss operation of facility for receipt of emails from Website to Clerk.
140154 GRASS CUTTING – Parish Council have awarded grass-cutting contract to “Mawers Movers”. Contractor has completed first cut of the year.
140155 STREET LIGHT (Woodlands) – Councillors undertook site visit but could not locate Street Light under Stutton P.C (Woodlands Estate), and will hold any payment to electricity supplier until supplier can identify the light in question.
140156 PARISH COUNCIL ELECTIONS –Clerk received notice that four of the councillors currently in post are the applicants to be Parish Councillors for the next election, and therefore no election will be required as there are five positions available in the Parish.
140157 UNDERPASS LIGHT – Clerk advised of complaints by Tadcaster Council and Mrs Liddle (resident) that light to underpass is not working. Cllr Wrigglesworth to replace bulb which has now been sourced from supplier.
140158 AFFORDABLE HOUSING – Parish Council discussed request for Consultation Meeting to be held in Village Hall. Housing Enabler advised that that they intend to hold the meeting in May, with landowner and Housing Association in attendance. Parish Council agreed to hire out hall, subject to availability.

140161 DATE OF NEXT MEETING – Action: To confirm date scheduled for next Ordinary Meeting, Thursday, 14 May 2015 at 7.35 pm, immediately after the Annual Meeting of Stutton cum Hazlewood Parish Council. The Annual Parish Meeting will also take place on Thursday, 14 May 2015, commencing at 7.00 pm.
